"Easy spot near Central Park"
Stayed here mostly because I wanted to be close to Central Park, and yeah, that part was great. I could get over there easily, and the subway was simple enough too, which matters more than I think about until I’m tired and trying to get back. The area outside did get a little crowded, but it wasn’t a huge deal. Kind of expected in that part of the city anyway.

"Pretty much what I hoped for from the Met’s site"
I’ve used metmuseum.org a handful of times when I wanted to see what talks or evening events were coming up. I expected it to be a little overwhelming, but the calendar was actually easy to follow and buying tickets was straightforward. The events I ended up going to felt well organized and worth the time, which is exactly what I was hoping for

"Am I the only one who found the cafe disappointing?"
Am I the only one who was let down by the cafe? The museum itself is great, but the food was cold, way too expensive for what it was, and the coffee tasted kind of burnt. I really wanted to like it, but the cafe definitely needs some work

"Felt Like I Got the Neglected Areas"
I left feeling kind of disappointed. Some of the bathrooms felt dirty, and there were a few spots around the place that looked like they hadn’t been properly maintained in a while. Maybe I just had bad luck, but it definitely felt like I ended up seeing the parts no one was taking care of.

"Beautiful Artwork, Slightly Overwhelming Pages"
I actually really enjoyed browsing the artwork on metmuseum.org. The images are crisp, and the zoom feature is a tiny miracle when you want to get lost in all the details. Some pages do feel a bit packed with information, like you're being hit with a grand museum scroll of facts all at once, but it’s still easy to move around and appreciate the pieces. Overall, I’d definitely use it again.

"Pretty helpful audio guide!!!"
I used the audio guide on The Metropolitan Museum of Art before my visit and while I was walking around the museum, it was helpful!!! Most of the clips were clear, easy to follow, and thankfully not super long or boring... which I really appreciated. A few things loaded kinda slowly on my phone, though, and some stops had wayyy more info than others?? Not a dealbreaker at all, just something I noticed. Overall, it made the bigger galleries feel a lot easier to enjoy and understand!!! I’d definitely use it again, but I do hope they make the sections a little more balanced.

"Great for art history, but finding stuff can be annoying"
I use metmuseum often for school ideas and art history reading. The videos and lesson pages are actually really helpful, and the image quality is excellent. That said, I do get a little impatient when I’m trying to find one specific resource and have to dig around longer than I expected. Still, overall, it’s a solid site for learning and getting inspired

"Too pricey and shipping dragged on"
I felt like it was overpriced for what I got, and the shipping took way longer than I expected. The site had all the usual polished wording about quality and service, but that didn’t really match my experience. I probably wouldn’t order again unless the price came way down and they were more upfront about delivery times.

"Worth It for a Family Day Out"
As a parent, I definitely noticed the cost adding up once we bought tickets for the whole family, but it still felt fair for what we got. It’s not the cheapest outing, but we all had a good time, so I’d say it was worth it...

I found this helpful overall, especially once I focused on the parts that actually mattered to me. I was mainly looking for family planning details, so I kind of skimmed past the rest. The info was there, but it felt a bit scattered and I had to jump around to piece things together. Still useful, just wish that section was more organized and easier to follow

"Really happy with my prints"
I ordered a few prints from the Met store it all went smoothly. The site was easy to use, checkout was simple, and the package showed up faster than I expected. The prints look great too, really great quality overall. I’m really happy with them.

"Really cool collection"
I don’t know exactly how to explain it, but this collection just has a really good feel to it. Every time I look around, I end up finding something that catches me off guard, whether it’s an old painting or some strange little object I didn’t expect. The site is easy to use too, which makes the whole thing even better.

"So much to see, almost too much"
I went in mainly wanting to look at the paintings, but there were so many different exhibits that I kind of felt pressured to keep moving and see everything. I ended up checking out the armor, the Egypt section, and some photography too. It never got boring, just a little overwhelming in a good way

"Actually Useful on My Phone"
I checked metmuseum.org on my phone before heading over to look up hours and tickets, and weirdly enough, it just worked. Pages loaded fast, I didn’t have to pinch and zoom like I was solving a tiny ancient manuscript, and I found what I needed quickly. smooth experience with no issues.

"Helpful reply, but the wait was frustrating"
I had a question about my tickets so I emailed customer service. They did get back to me, but it took a couple of days, which felt longer than it should have. I was kind of stuck waiting and felt a bit trapped because I couldn’t really move forward until they replied. The answer was helpful once it came through, I just wish the response time had been faster.

"Super Easy Way to Plan a Met Visit"
I mostly use metmuseum.org to check out which special exhibitions are happening before I head over, and it has made the whole planning process really easy. The exhibit pages are simple to follow, with the dates, ticket info, and a clear idea of what each show is about. I actually found a recent exhibit through the site and ended up loving it. 5 stars from me — it makes planning a museum day so much less confusing
